Sofia Randazzo, LP-MFT
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - Limited Permit
Sofia is a provisionally licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of South Carolina and a Master’s degree in Couple and Family Therapy from the University of Rhode Island.
Sofia specializes in working with couples navigating challenges related to communication, intimacy, and infidelity. She also has experience supporting adult family systems and individuals addressing broader relational and systemic concerns. Drawing from approaches including Emotionally Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and the Gottman Method, Sofia works collaboratively with clients to foster emotional openness, reduce reactivity, strengthen relational responsiveness, and support clients in articulating their needs and values with greater clarity.
Sofia approaches therapy from a systemic perspective, meaning she looks at how patterns within relationships, families, and broader life contexts shape the challenges people experience. Rather than focusing only on surface-level solutions, her work aims for deeper, lasting change by helping clients recognize and shift the relational patterns that keep them feeling stuck. She practices from a person-centered, strengths-based lens - often sharing moments of laughter with clients while supporting them in reconnecting with meaningful sources of connection, purpose, and possibility.
