Master of Social Work Intern

Holly Cifonelli is a Master of Social Work intern currently completing her graduate degree at Utica University. In addition to finalizing her program this summer, Holly has begun credentialing toward her CPPT (Child-Centered Play Therapist) Certificate, further deepening her commitment to supporting children in developmentally appropriate and meaningful ways.

Holly uses a play-centered therapeutic approach and is lovingly known around the office as the “kiddo guru.” She truly defines what it means to get on a child’s level—often found sitting on the floor with her clients, building with blocks, coloring, or sharing a few joyful moments popping bubbles. Through play, Holly helps children feel safe, understood, and empowered to express emotions they may not yet have words for.

Holly specializes in working with anxiety and currently sees children and adolescents ages 3–18. She brings an unmatched energy into her work and consistently goes above and beyond for every child and family she supports, creating a therapeutic experience that feels both fun and deeply caring.

At this time, Holly is offering services at a discounted, cash-based rate. Upon completion of her graduate program, Holly will be joining Modern Counseling and Wellness Co. full time this fall and anticipates credentialing with our aligned insurance partners.
