Hannah Mickle, LMSW

Licensed Master Social Worker

Hannah Mickle, LMSW is a school social worker in the New Hartford Central School District who brings a warm, steady, and compassionate presence to her work with children and families. Known for her gentle, thoughtful, and child-centered approach, she creates a space where children feel safe, understood, and accepted just as they are. Her calm and approachable style helps children feel comfortable expressing themselves, even when emotions feel big or hard to put into words.

Hannah specializes in working with children ages 4–13 and has experience supporting emotion regulation, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. She is deeply interested in child-centered therapeutic approaches and is currently pursuing certification as a Child-Centered Play Therapist, while also working toward her clinical licensure. She believes that play is a powerful and natural way for children to explore their inner world, build confidence, and develop coping skills.

At the heart of her work is a commitment to meeting each child where they are and approaching their life experiences with curiosity, openness, and care. Hannah believes that every child already holds their own strengths and potential, and with the right support, they can begin to understand themselves, navigate challenges, and find their own path forward.
